Collaboration grant

The EADP Collaboration Grant was established in 2021 to strengthen developmental psychology research activities by promoting collaboration among researchers in Europe. The grant is intended to fund high quality research projects realized by at least three members of the EADP from different countries in Europe. 

 

Third funding round will be from January 1st, 2026 to December 31st, 2027. The call for proposals is expected by the end of 2025. 

Second funding round (1-1-2024 to 31-12-2025)

The collaboration grant is currently in its second funding round running from January 1st, 2024 to December 31st, 2025. The grant has been awarded to four ongoing projects: 

  • Exploring Time-Specific Dynamics in Associations between Acculturation and Psychosocial Adjustment in Ethnic-Minoritized Youth by Savaş Karataş (Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, Germany), Jana Vietze (Erasmus University Rotterdam, The Netherlands), & Kinga Bierwiaczonek (University of Oslo, Norway)
  • The contribution of environmental sensitivity to children’s adjustment: from its assessment to the interaction with parenting by Ana Catarina Canário (University of Porto, Portugal), Alessandra Sperati (University of Chieti-Pescara, Italy), Chiara Ceccon (University of Padova, Italy), Melisse Houbrechts (University of KU Leuven, Belgium), & Sofie Weyn (University of Bern, Switzerland)
  • Epigenetics of ADHD: in the quest for a biological marker of the disorder by Sofia Marques (Universidade Lusíada Norte, Portugal), Livio Provenzi (University of Pavia, Italy), & Stefanos Mastrotheodoros (University of Crete, Greece)
  • Smartphone Use, Sleep, and Mood: A cross-cultural study on the role of emotion regulation by Stefanos Mastrotheodoros (University of Crete, Greece), Marina Merkas (Catholic University of Croatia, Croatia), & Susanne Schulz (University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands).
